Human Resources (HR) Generalist
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Professional to support key people initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role will focus on advancing high-impact HR projects, including market-based compensation research, standardized incentive plan communication, and the completion of updated job descriptions across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, project ownership, and the ability to partner directly with leaders to turn complex HR information into practical, well-organized deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct updated compensation research by analyzing current market data, using available benchmarking resources, and applying AI-enabled research tools where appropriate.
• Partner with external compensation resources as needed to validate findings and strengthen salary benchmarking recommendations for priority positions.
• Develop a clear, organization-wide presentation that explains the management incentive plan in a consistent and easy-to-understand format.
• Translate complex incentive program details into concise communication materials that can be used uniformly by leaders across the business.
• Lead the completion of job description updates by gathering information from managers, reviewing existing materials, and drafting clear role documentation.
• Manage the job description process from start to finish, ensuring managers are guided through structured discussions rather than asked to complete blank templates independently.
• Collaborate closely with HR leadership to prioritize deliverables, track progress, and move multiple projects through completion.
• Organize project information, maintain documentation quality, and ensure outputs align with current HR standards and business needs.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in human resources with strong exposure to compensation, job architecture, or related HR project work.• Hands-on ability to perform salary benchmarking and interpret market compensation data accurately.
• Experience creating detail-focused presentations and communication materials for broad organizational use.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, well-structured job descriptions and HR documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects with limited oversight.
• Confidence partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to gather information and drive decisions forward.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research tools and practical judgment in using them to support HR analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to organizing project deliverables.
