Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Paralegal to provide support with managing discovery, preparing and serving subpoenas, and handling court filings and e-filings. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and organize discovery requests, responses, and document productions.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, and tracking deadlines.
• Prepare, issue, and track subpoenas for records, witnesses, and other legal matters.
• Coordinate with courts, agencies, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors regarding subpoenas and records requests.
• Prepare, file, and e-file pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearing preparation, and case management.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and outside parties.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a litigation environment.
• Demonstrated experience handling discovery, subpoenas, and court filing/e-filing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Familiarity with state and federal court rules and electronic filing systems.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
