Logistics Coordinator – Distribution & Supply Chain

Help Keep Operations Moving in a Fast-Paced Distribution Environment

A growing distribution and logistics company in Escondido is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation, shipping, and inventory operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating multiple moving pieces, and working closely with warehouse teams, carriers, and customers to ensure products arrive on time. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative operations team where you'll gain exposure to purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain coordination while developing valuable logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers
• Schedule deliveries and pickups while communicating with vendors and customers
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation issues
• Maintain shipping documentation, bills of lading, and freight records
• Update inventory and order information within the ERP system
• Prepare logistics reports and assist with inventory reconciliation
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations experience
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is highly desirable
