About the Role:
The Accounting Assistant will be an essential part of our finance team, handling financial transactions and record-keeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys supporting a dynamic team.
What You’ll Do:
- Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records using Quickbooks.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Support month-end closing processes and assist with financial report preparation.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance department.
What You’ll Bring:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- A good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
