We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our Adena Construction division supporting themed entertainment, attraction, and specialty construction projects throughout the Orlando area. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works safely, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is essential. If you have experience working with wood and metal framing systems, installing frames and hardware, and enjoy creating unique themed environments, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  1. Construct, install, and repair wood and metal structures
  2. Layout and frame walls using wood and metal studs
  3. Build framing, joists, rafters, blocking, and support structures
  4. Install doors, frames, and finish hardware
  5. Perform finish carpentry, including trim, millwork, and cabinetry
  6. Assist with themed scenic construction and specialty show elements
  7. Work with materials including wood, metal, FRP, and GFRC
  8. Install wall protection systems, acoustic ceilings, and other architectural finishes
  9. Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  10. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety requirements
  11. Support project schedules and deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship


Position Requirements:
Position Requirements
  1. Experience with wood and metal framing/structures
  2. Experience installing doors, frames, and hardware
  3. Ability to read blueprints and perform construction layout work (preferred)
  4. Strong finish carpentry skills a plus
  5. Reliable transportation and ability to commute to various job sites
  6. Valid driver's license preferred
  7. OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  8. Be willing to travel to jobsites when required
  9. Be available for overtime, weekend work, and overnight shifts when necessary
  10. Be flexible with work schedules based on project demands and deadlines
