Major/Essential Functions

  • Contribute as a core member of an interdisciplinary primary care team, collaborating with all members of the care team to co-manage chronic conditions;
  • Provide primary care consultation, evaluating patients for mental health conditions, barriers to care and cognitive impairments;
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy;
  • Educate patients and their support system on lifestyle modifications, behavioral health strategies and medication adherence; and
  • Participate in the education of learners.


Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in related field.
  • Active Texas License with Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Clinical Psychology.
