PC Technician

We are looking for a PC Technician to support hardware setup, troubleshooting, and device maintenance for end users in Merrillville, Indiana. This is a 2-3 week Contract position suited for someone with hands-on experience working with desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and structured cabling. The ideal candidate is comfortable servicing both Dell and Apple devices while helping maintain reliable workstation performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop hardware for new and existing users.

• Diagnose and resolve issues involving computers, peripheral equipment, and related hardware components.

• Perform cable routing, connection setup, and basic workstation wiring to support device installations.

• Provide hands-on support for Dell systems and Apple devices, including setup, replacement, and troubleshooting.

• Test equipment after installation or repair to confirm proper functionality and user readiness.

• Maintain accurate records of hardware assignments, service activities, and completed support tasks.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in PC technician or desktop support work.

• Practical knowledge of computer hardware, associated accessories, and common peripheral devices.

• Experience with cable installation and physical workstation setup.

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies equipment and Apple devices.

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware problems efficiently and communicate solutions clearly.

• Capable of handling multiple support requests
