Junior Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Support the trial team with day-to-day onsite assistance during preparation for an upcoming patent matter.
• Review binders, folders, and case materials to confirm organization, completeness, and readiness for daily use.
• Perform quality checks on printed and assembled documents, including exhibits, labels, and other trial materials prepared during evening work cycles.
• Proofread legal and case-related documents for formatting, consistency, and basic accuracy before distribution.
• Handle routine administrative and office support tasks such as printing, copying, labeling, and assembling files under tight timelines.
• Respond quickly to end-of-day assignments from attorneys and help turn around materials needed for the following morning.
• Assist with exhibit management and ensure documents returned from printing or bindery production meet required standards.
• Help maintain an orderly trial room and coordinate practical trial support needs, including material movement and general task execution.
• Be available for overtime, including overnight hours, to help the team meet critical trial deadlines.
Qualifications:
• Some prior paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in a law firm or litigation setting.• Familiarity with intellectual property matters, civil litigation, or trial preparation is strongly preferred.
• Ability to proofread carefully and identify errors in legal documents and supporting materials.
• Experience with document production tasks such as printing, labeling, copying, or bindery assembly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive but important detail-oriented assignments.
• Comfortable working onsite in Wilmington, Delaware and adapting quickly to urgent requests.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime and overnight shifts, when trial demands require it.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow direction well, and contribute effectively in a high-pressure team environment.
