HRIS Project Manager- PT

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Project Manager to lead strategic HR initiatives and support organizational priorities in Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can balance HR leadership, compliance, policy oversight, and project execution while working across multiple stakeholder groups. The role will focus on driving operational improvements, strengthening people processes, and delivering reliable HR reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead HR-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and implement human resources policies, programs, and operational practices.
• Oversee compliance-focused activities by monitoring HR processes and helping ensure adherence to applicable employment standards and internal policies.
• Support organizational development efforts by identifying process improvement opportunities and recommending practical solutions that enhance workforce effectiveness.
• Coordinate with managers and HR stakeholders to guide change initiatives, address people-related challenges, and maintain clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Analyze HRIS data and reporting outputs to provide actionable insights, improve data accuracy, and support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to HRIS-related initiatives, including implementation support, reporting enhancements, testing, and process documentation when needed.
• Track project performance, prepare status updates for leadership, and mitigate risks that could affect project scope, quality, or delivery.
• Promote consistency across HR programs by establishing structured workflows, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience managing human resources projects or leading complex HR initiatives in a detail-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in HR leadership, HR policy development, and compliance oversight.
• Strong background in organizational development and people management practices.
• Experience working with HRIS analysis, implementation activities, and reporting functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across leadership and operational teams.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to translate HR data into meaningful recommendations.

Compensation

$50.00-$70.00 Hourly
