Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to support their growing team in Lancaster, PA. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with employees and leaders across all levels of the organization. The HR Generalist will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will be a trusted resource for employees while helping drive a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
• Manage core human resources activities, including employee relations support, records administration, and day-to-day HR coordination.
• Lead onboarding efforts for new team members by preparing documentation, facilitating orientation, and helping employees transition smoothly into their roles.
• Administer benefits-related processes, respond to employee questions, and assist with enrollment and related HR support activities.
• Support recruiting efforts across the full recruitment cycle, from posting openings and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and assisting with offer processes.
• Contribute to high-volume recruitment initiatives by maintaining organized workflows and ensuring timely communication with applicants and staffing teams.
• Maintain accurate information in HRIS platforms and use system data to support reporting, employee updates, and HR documentation.
• Promote employee engagement by assisting with programs, communications, and initiatives that strengthen workplace culture.
• Help ensure compliance with HR policies, employment practices, and internal procedures through consistent documentation and process follow-through
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role with exposure to multiple functional areas.• Working knowledge of employee relations practices, HR administration, and onboarding coordination.
• Experience supporting benefits administration and responding to employee inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate employee data and records.
• Background in full-cycle recruiting, including support for high-volume hiring environments.
• Understanding of HR compliance requirements, policy application, and standard employment documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Compensation
