About the Opportunity

Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit legal organization that is nationally recognized for its impact and commitment to public interest advocacy. The organization is seeking a Temporary Conflicts Analyst to support its Legal Operations team during a period of transition. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional to contribute to a collaborative environment while gaining experience with sophisticated conflicts and risk management processes.

Position Overview

The Temporary Conflicts Analyst will assist with reviewing new matters and prospective hires, identifying potential conflicts, and supporting compliance with internal policies and professional responsibility requirements. This is a full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) that can be performed remotely or on a hybrid basis. The assignment is expected to run through January 2027 on a strict contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct conflicts searches and analysis to support compliance with professional conduct rules, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Review new matter requests and conflicts submissions, obtaining additional information when necessary.
• Process and evaluate conflicts checks for prospective hires.
• Utilize Intapp to conduct searches, prepare reports, and analyze potential conflicts issues.
• Perform corporate and organizational research to support conflicts reviews.
• Summarize findings and escalate potential conflicts to appropriate stakeholders for further review.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to conflicts review and resolution.
• Assist with special projects and other legal operations initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of conflicts analysis experience within a law firm, legal department, or similar professional services environment preferred.
• Experience with Intapp NBI, Intapp Risk, or similar conflicts management software.
• Working knowledge of conflicts-of-interest principles and professional responsibility rules.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
