Jr. Graphic Designer

Location: Lancaster, TX 75134 (Onsite 4 days/week | 40 hrs/week | Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM)

Duration: Contract-to-Hire (3-month contract period)

We are seeking a Jr. Graphic Designer to join our client's growing team in Lancaster, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who enjoys working independently and has a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating customized nameplate products based on customer orders, including text and logo layouts, while ensuring accuracy and quality in every design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create custom nameplate designs based on customer specifications, incorporating text, logos, and branding elements.
2. Prepare production-ready artwork while maintaining accuracy and consistency across orders.
3. Review designs for quality, formatting, and detail prior to production.
4. Manage assigned projects independently while meeting deadlines and production requirements.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure customer expectations and design standards are met.

Qualifications:

Top 3 Must-Haves:

1. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous graphic design experience through internships, freelance work, contract roles, or entry-level positions.
• Experience preparing artwork for production or print-related projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Skills & Tools:

• Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Understanding of basic typography, layout, and logo placement
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow established design standards and processes
• Online design portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design work (required)

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior designer looking to gain hands-on experience in a production-focused environment while growing with an established team. If you're a self-starter with strong Illustrator skills and an eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
