Dispatcher

We are looking for dependable Dispatchers to join a high-activity alarm monitoring team in North Carolina. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for individuals who can stay composed during urgent situations, communicate clearly, and manage multiple tasks with precision. In this role, you will support commercial alarm response operations by handling incoming signals, coordinating notifications, and documenting events accurately. Candidates who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working flexible schedules will be well suited for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee incoming alarm activity from commercial accounts and evaluate signals that require immediate attention.
• Manage alerts involving burglary, fire, medical, trouble, and supervisory conditions while following established response procedures.
• Contact customers, emergency services, and designated contacts to confirm events and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
• Communicate in a calm, attentive manner during time-sensitive situations involving customers and responders.
• Record alarm events, response actions, and communication details thoroughly within the monitoring platform.
• Enter, review, and update account information in computer systems with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Prioritize multiple active situations at once in a fast-paced monitoring environment while making sound decisions quickly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatching, alarm monitoring, call center operations, customer service, or emergency response is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Comfortable using several computer applications and navigating software efficiently.
• High attention to detail with consistent accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to complete required screening requirements and fingerprinting.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.

Compensation

$15.20-$17.60 Hourly
