Patient Service Representative

We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to support a busy healthcare team. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, coordinating appointments, and delivering courteous service in a fast-paced setting. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience from scheduling through registration.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient appointments by phone and through scheduling systems, ensuring accurate timing and provider availability.

• Welcome and assist patients with registration, updates to demographic information, and general service needs during each visit.

• Respond to inbound calls with professionalism, addressing questions, routing concerns appropriately, and providing clear service information.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records while verifying details needed for appointments and front-desk processes.

• Support daily patient service operations by managing check-in activities and helping resolve routine access or scheduling issues.

• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure patients receive timely assistance and follow-up.

• Participate in interview and onboarding processes as needed, including virtual meetings and possible onsite follow-up discussio.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in patient scheduling, patient registration, or front-desk support within a healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist patients in a detail-oriented and compassionate manner.
• Experience handling high-volume phone interactions or call center customer service responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced medical office or patient service environment.
• Comfortable using scheduling platforms and maintaining accurate patient information in office systems.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented work style.

Compensation

$21.00-$23.00 Hourly
