Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely information processing in Kansas City, Missouri. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with digital records, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while handling repetitive tasks. The person in this role will help keep business data current, complete, and properly documented across computer-based systems.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and update numeric and text-based information in computer systems with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Review incoming data for completeness, consistency, and formatting before processing records.
• Maintain organized digital files and ensure information is recorded in the correct locations.
• Perform routine checks to identify and correct entry errors or missing details.
• Handle high-volume typing and data input tasks while meeting productivity expectations.
• Support record maintenance activities by updating existing entries and creating new files as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with data entry in an office or administrative setting.
• Strong typing ability with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Proficiency using computer-based systems for entering and managing information.
• Ability to work with numeric data and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while staying focused and organized.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a structured environment.

Compensation

$20.90-$24.20 Hourly
