Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing incoming communications, and keeping administrative tasks on track. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and callers while helping the office run smoothly on a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors professionally and provide a positive first impression for everyone entering the office
• Manage a multi-line phone system, direct calls accurately, and take clear messages when needed
• Respond to inbound calls promptly while handling routine inquiries with courtesy and efficiency
• Coordinate front-desk activities to maintain an orderly and well-supported reception area
• Assist with basic administrative duties such as relaying information, organizing records, and supporting office workflow
• Monitor daily communications and ensure important messages are delivered to the appropriate team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a reception, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role
• Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with several active lines
• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented telephone manner
• Comfortable handling a steady volume of inbound calls while remaining organized
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently in a part-time position
• Basic administrative and office support skills with attention to detail

Compensation

$15.00-$15.00 Hourly
