Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Administer and enhance cloud, server, and platform environments to support business applications, data services, and core infrastructure needs.
• Partner with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate system configuration, server administration, and ongoing operational support.
• Evaluate current environments and propose upgrades or improvements for servers, software, and related technologies to improve stability and scalability.
• Monitor systems, applications, and shared resources to maintain availability, performance, and security, and address issues before they affect operations.
• Analyze network and infrastructure performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions involving connectivity, firewall settings, and system configuration.
• Perform troubleshooting, tuning, and root-cause analysis for system and application issues, escalating to vendors when advanced support is required.
• Manage Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, and organizational settings to support development and deployment activities.
• Recommend and help implement technical solutions that improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, automation, and long-term maintainability.
• Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, identity platforms, and related cloud services while helping enforce security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience administering enterprise servers, cloud platforms, and Microsoft-based environments, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.• Strong ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues involving performance, configuration, connectivity, and security.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, security controls, compliance practices, and policy-driven administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including project setup, source control repositories, pipelines, and platform configuration.
• Ability to monitor daily operations, analyze system health, and make informed recommendations for upgrades and optimization.
• Strong communication and planning skills with the ability to work effectively across a matrixed environment with multiple teams and partners.
• Familiarity with automation, configuration management, and operational procedures that support reliable technology services.
