Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Manage and organize electronic and paper files related to administrative, personnel, stakeholder, and security badging documentation in accordance with applicable federal requirements.
• Assist applicants and airport staff throughout the badging process by answering questions, explaining procedures, and providing courteous in-person and phone support.
• Perform a range of clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, record updates, and correspondence handling to keep office operations running efficiently.
• Maintain accurate card access and badging records while safeguarding confidential information and ensuring documentation is complete and current.
• Represent the airport professionally by delivering responsive customer service and creating a welcoming experience for the public and employees.
• Evaluate routine and urgent situations carefully, use good judgment when determining next steps, and respond appropriately when immediate action is needed.
• Build productive working relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to support smooth coordination of administrative activities.
• Contribute to additional office and program-related duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative support or office assistant role.• Strong data entry and records management skills, including work with both electronic and physical files.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service while assisting a diverse group of applicants, employees, and visitors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general office computer systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interact professionally with others.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Sound decision-making skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
