Senior SAP QA Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP QA Analyst to join a Long-term Contract engagement on a remote basis. This role focuses on driving quality assurance efforts for a complex SAP environment, with significant involvement in testing strategy, execution, and business process validation. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP functional knowledge, especially in Quality Management, and can partner effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders to support a successful enterprise transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing activities across the full QA lifecycle, from planning and script design through execution, validation, and final reporting.

• Create and maintain detailed test scenarios, cases, and supporting documentation for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing efforts.

• Apply deep SAP QM expertise to assess business processes, validate system behavior, and confirm alignment with operational requirements.

• Review migrated and existing data for completeness and accuracy, reconciling records between legacy ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Verify interfaces and cross-system data movement by conducting integration testing with connected applications and external platforms.

• Log, prioritize, and monitor defects, partnering with functional analysts, developers, and stakeholders to drive timely resolution.

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test materials, guiding execution, and addressing issues raised by business users.

• Contribute to cutover readiness, go-live validation, and post-launch support to help stabilize the solution after deployment.

• Deliver clear updates on test progress, quality risks, and recommended actions while helping refine QA standards and testing practices.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance or software quality assurance, including substantial work within SAP environments.
• Hands-on background supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration initiatives.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP business processes, with demonstrated expertise in the QM module.
• Proven experience developing test plans, writing test cases, executing tests, and managing defects through resolution.
• Ability to support both System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing in complex enterprise programs.
• Experience validating and reconciling data, including transfer and migration checks across SAP platforms.
• Familiarity with testing integrations, APIs, and data exchanges between SAP and connected business applications.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced project environments.

Compensation

$80.00-$100.00 Hourly
