- Analyze transactional and property-related issues, identify potential legal concerns, and review business terms, entity information, and other material transaction details.
- Communicate directly with existing and prospective clients regarding transactional matters, legal analysis, questions, timing, costs, and next steps.
- Negotiate transactional terms with the client's objectives in mind and independently manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Collaborate with the firm's Real Estate and Land Use attorneys as needed while providing clear, concise, and direct transactional drafting and legal analysis.
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 2+ years of post-bar real estate transactional experience.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for both commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Experience with additional real estate transactional matters such as leasing, financing and loan documentation, entity formation, due diligence and title review, easements and licenses, development-related agreements, or other property-related transactions.
