Transactional Real Estate Attorney
Our client, a San Francisco law firm, is seeking a California-licensed Real Estate Transactions Attorney to provide immediate leave of absence coverage. The ideal candidate has at least two years of post-bar experience representing clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, particularly acquisitions and dispositions involving the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, as well as leasing and financing matters.
This attorney will work closely with the firm's Real Estate team, supporting transactions from initial due diligence through closing while partnering on a broad range of commercial and residential real estate matters. The assignment is expected to last approximately 1–3+ months but is open-ended due to the nature of the leave and offers the potential for a longer-term or contract-to-hire opportunity depending on business needs and mutual interest.

- Prepare entity formation and organizational documents for limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Draft and negotiate easements, licenses, and other agreements supporting acquisitions, development, and ongoing property operations.
- Assist with transactional matters through closing and provide practical legal guidance throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-bar experience handling commercial and/or residential real estate transactions.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
- Experience with commercial leasing, financing transactions, entity formation, due diligence, title review, and related transactional real estate matters.
- Ability to independently manage multiple transactional matters in a deadline-driven practice.
