Functional Business Analyst - SAP ECC 6

Robert Half is looking for a Business Analyst / Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP Controlling (CO), overhead allocation, and General Ledger asset management. The position partners with Accounting, Finance, and operational teams to interpret requirements, analyze business processes, and support improvements leveraging SAP modules. This opportunity will be located onsite in Chino, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, document, and map current and future-state business processes in relation to SAP ECC 6 modules (Controlling, Asset Management, General Ledger and overhead allocation)

• Serve as key liaison between business users and technical teams for enhancements and issue resolution related to overhead allocation and SAP CO processes.

• Support configuration, data validation, and master data management for asset management and controlling areas.

• Develop and execute test plans for new functionality, enhancements, and changes to financial modules.

• Advise on best practices for overhead allocation methodologies, cost center structures, and reporting

• Generate reports and provide data-driven insights for management decision making

• Support financial close, audits, and compliance activities as they relate to SAP modules

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with SAP ECC 6.0 in a business analyst or closely related functional role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO and broader SAP Finance and Controlling processes.
• Practical experience supporting SAP configuration for finance-focused modules and related business functions.
• Understanding of overhead allocation methods, cost center structures, and General Ledger processes.
• Experience with asset management functions, including data validation and master data support.
• Ability to gather requirements, document business processes, and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Proven capability to support testing, issue analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Compensation

$70.00-$75.00 Hourly
