Benefits Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Administer day-to-day benefits activities, including enrollment changes, eligibility updates, and routine issue resolution for employees.
• Coordinate benefit program operations by partnering with internal teams, vendors, and employees to maintain accurate and timely service.
• Support open enrollment planning and execution by preparing materials, answering questions, and validating elections.
• Manage FMLA and related leave processes by tracking documentation, monitoring timelines, and communicating next steps to employees.
• Review benefits data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to improve administration.
• Assist with compensation and benefits reporting by compiling information and helping maintain reliable records in Dayforce.
• Respond to employee questions regarding coverage, plan options, and benefits procedures in a clear and thorough manner.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, benefits coordination, or a closely related human resources function.• Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including employee support and program administration.
• Experience handling FMLA or other leave-of-absence processes with strong attention to compliance and documentation.
• Proficiency using Dayforce for benefits-related transactions, record updates, or reporting activities.
• Background supporting open enrollment and managing employee benefit elections accurately.
• Ability to analyze benefits information, spot inconsistencies, and maintain detailed records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a Contract role.
Compensation
