Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front desk operations for a long-term contract position based in San Francisco, California. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment while managing a steady flow of incoming calls and visitor interactions. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently in a part-time setting.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and provide a courteous, organized front desk experience for visitors and staff.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, directing each inquiry to the appropriate contact or department.
• Operate the switchboard effectively to ensure calls are answered promptly and transferred accurately.
• Respond to inbound phone inquiries with clear and courteous communication.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and support day-to-day administrative coordination as needed.
• Assist with basic front office tasks such as taking messages, relaying information, and monitoring visitor flow.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk support role.
• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented phone manner.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while staying organized.
• Dependable and punctual, with the flexibility to succeed in a part-time schedule.
• Basic administrative and customer service skills in an office environment.

Compensation

$23.00-$23.00 Hourly
