Data Entry Clerk

Position Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information within company databases and systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of data while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update customer, employee, and business data into company systems.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness before inputting information.
• Verify data and correct discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain electronic and physical records.
• Generate reports and retrieve information upon request.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and document management projects.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals.

Qualifications:

Requirements

• 1+ year of data entry, administrative, or office support experience.
• Strong typing and 10-key skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
