Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

We are seeking an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join their compliance team in a contract capacity. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for professionals with at least one year of AML experience who are passionate about financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and conducting thorough investigations.

• Review and investigate suspicious transactions and account activity for potential money laundering or financial crimes.
• Conduct AML, KYC (Know Your Customer), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews.
• Analyze alerts generated through transaction monitoring systems and determine appropriate escalation.
• Gather, review, and document customer information to support investigations.
• Prepare detailed case summaries and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Assist with Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) investigations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal AML policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations teams on escalated issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience required.
• Experience reviewing transaction monitoring alerts, KYC, CDD, or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to identify unusual transaction patterns and potential compliance risks.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Banking, financial services, or compliance experience preferred.
