San Francisco, CA (Financial District) – 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
Anticipated $75,000–$85,000K DOE
Our client, a property management and development firm, is seeking an Payroll & HR Administrator to join its close-knit, tenured team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working independently, and supporting both HR and payroll functions in a collaborative, small-company environment.

Responsibilities
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with California payroll regulations
- Administer benefits, employee enrollments, and open enrollment activities
- Coordinate job postings, onboarding, employee documentation, and recruiting support
- Maintain HR records and assist with day-to-day HR operations
- Support compliance, employee relations, and policy administration
- Assist with reporting, audits, and ongoing HR/payroll projects
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of combined payroll & HR administration experience
- Prior California HR and payroll experience required; multi-state experience is a plus
- Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR compliance
- Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and quickly switch gears
- Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting and onboarding
- Background in property management, real estate, construction, retail, healthcare, or medical environments preferred
Compensation
