HR Generalist
Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees, supporting company initiatives, and managing a variety of HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including employment paperwork, background checks, and orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR files are updated and compliant.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee inquiries, and HR-related documentation.
- Support payroll processes by reviewing timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and partnering with payroll teams.
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and company practices.
- Support performance management processes, including tracking reviews and employee documentation.
- Assist with compliance initiatives, audits, and maintaining required employment records.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain data within HRIS systems.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and special HR projects.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Experience supporting hourly employees and a manufacturing workforce is preferred.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certifications are a plus.
