Business Systems Analyst

Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Business Systems Analyst (contract). In this role, you will support business operations through application administration, workflow optimization, reporting, and data analysis. This role serves as a key liaison between business users, technology platforms, and data systems, helping improve operational efficiency, user experience, and decision-making. This role on-site is in Austin, Tx. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize ticketing and business application platforms.
• Build and maintain workflows, automations, forms, and user permissions.
• Resolve user issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable business insights.
• Ensure data accuracy through audits and troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Support application integrations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Create system documentation and assist with user training.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational initiatives.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience supporting business applications, systems administration, reporting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Experience configuring workflows, automations, forms, or ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, HRIS, service management, or similar business platforms.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar solutions.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with workflow automation, system integrations, or business process optimization.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and operational systems.
• Knowledge of user access administration, data management, and application support.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced business environments.
