We will be hiring this position at either a BSA Analyst level I (one) or II (two) depending on experience.


Job Summary:

The BSA Analyst I supports, monitors, and maintains the Bank’s AML/CFT/CIP/OFAC Program to meet regulatory requirements by performing analytical and operational compliance functions that are generally structured and procedural in nature. The BSA Analyst I executes day-to-day compliance functions and supports the BSA department in higher complexity processes.


The BSA Analyst II supports, monitors, and maintains the Bank’s AML/CFT/CIP/OFAC Program to meet regulatory requirements by performing and overseeing intermediate analytical and operational compliance functions that are generally structured and procedural in nature. The BSA Analyst II supports the BSA and Fraud department in higher complexity processes and supports internal BSA training initiatives.

 

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

BSA Analyst I

  • Supports the Bank’s AML/CFT/CIP/OFAC Program by reviewing and investigating AML/CFT/OFAC alerts in the Bank's AML/Fraud monitoring solution. Creates cases and creates AML/CFT cases and prepares Suspicious Activity Reports, when required.
  • Reviews alerts and completes testing in the OFAC monitoring solution for wires.
  • Performs reviews and monitoring of the Bank’s Customer Due Diligence (CDD) forms and processes to ensure timely collection of accurate information and appropriate customer monitoring.
  • Reviews the filing of accurate and timely Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) as well as completing the annual CTR Exception process.
  • Maintains compliance with Section 314(a) of the USA Patriot Act.
  • Monitors and mains the Bank's Monetary Instrument Log.
  • Supports audit and exam request lists.
  • Tracks and reports new functionalities available in the Bank's AML/Fraud and OFAC monitoring solutions.
  • Supports the maintenance of department system applications as well as user access rights
  • Completes public record checks and restitution payment processing for the Bank
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • BSA Analyst II

  • Supports the Bank’s AML/CFT/CIP/OFAC Program by reviewing and investigating AML/CFT/OFAC alerts in the AML/Fraud monitoring solution. Creates AML/CFT cases and prepares AML/CFT and Fraud Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), when required.
  • Manages all aspects of the Bank's OFAC monitoring solution for wires and aligns with risk-based practices.
  • Manages all aspects of the Bank's Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements and aligns with risk-based practices.
  • Manages all aspects of the Bank's Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) requirements, including CTR Exemptions.
  • Manages the Bank's compliance with Section 314(a) of the USA Patriot Act.
  • Manages all aspects of the Bank's Monetary Instrument Log requirements.
  • Serves as an active member of peer groups in the industry and in the Bank's markets.
  • Supports audit and exam request lists.
  • Tracks, reports, and implements new functionalities available in the Bank's AML/Fraud and OFAC monitoring solutions.
  • Supports the maintenance and user access rights of the AML/Fraud monitoring solution.
  • Assists in the creation and delivery of periodic BSA related training for the Bank team members.
  • Completes public record checks and restitution payment process for the Bank.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    BSA Analyst I

  • At least five years of retail or operational banking experience required
  • At least three years of AML/CFT/OFAC related experience preferred
  • Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of 4-6 years education and experience
  • BSA Analyst II

  • At least five years of retail or operational banking experience required
  • At least five years of AML/CFT/OFAC related experience preferred
  • Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of 6-8 years of education and experience
  •  

    Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with Verafin is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain BSA certifications
  •  

    Hiring Salary Range

    The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Base Salary Range: BSA Analyst II $66,000 - $78,000 plus Annual Bonus, BSA Analyst I: $58,000 - $69,000 plus Annual Bonus.
