Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

As a Member Care Representative I, you'll be the friendly voice our members count on for answers, solutions, and exceptional service. From assisting with electric service applications and billing inquiries to resolving issues with a one-call resolution mindset, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding member experience

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Every day brings a new opportunity to help our members by:
Assisting with new electric service applications, reconnects, and service transfers
Answering billing, payment, and general account questions
Resolving member concerns with a focus on first-call resolution
Processing service orders and maintaining accurate account information
Explaining rate options and utility services clearly and confidently
Supporting members during outages and high-volume periods when needed
Working collaboratively to provide outstanding service and support to our community
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of experience as a customer service representative in a call center environment
SKILLS:
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with members and employees
Proficiency in effectively conducting member interviews and addressing and resolving inquiries
Excellent organization and planning skills
Works well independently and in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a fast paced, high pressure work atmosphere
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of basic utility rates
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple duties
Proficiency with personal computers
PREFERRED:
Previous experience in the utility industry
Bilingual
