Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a long-term contract opportunity based in Farmington, Connecticut. This role will focus on analyzing business needs, refining operational processes, and helping deliver effective solutions in a structured environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience working with cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation and actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery across key operations.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements by partnering with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams.
• Support configuration-related activities to align system functionality with business needs and documented process requirements.
• Perform gap assessments to compare current processes with target-state needs and recommend practical solutions.
• Contribute to initiatives involving ADPEV5, pay frequency harmonization, and bridge loan processes by documenting impacts, dependencies, and business rules.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, track action items, and help ensure requirements are clearly understood throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review operational and business documents for completeness, consistency, and alignment with project objectives and compliance expectations.
• Collaborate with customer service and call center teams to evaluate process pain points and improve user and customer experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business analysis within structured project environments.
• Hands-on ability to gather requirements, create documentation, and perform detailed document reviews.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working within iterative delivery models.
• Experience conducting gap analysis and translating findings into business-focused recommendations.
• Understanding of configuration support within business or system implementation projects.
• Knowledge of processes related to ADPEV5, pay frequency harmonization, and bridge loans.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business, operations, and technical teams.

Compensation

$57.00-$66.00 Hourly
