Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a wholesale distribution team in Sharonville, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent role. This position focuses on delivering responsive support to customers, processing orders with precision, and keeping daily transactions moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
• Enter customer orders accurately and within established turnaround expectations to support timely fulfillment.
• Review order details to help improve order value and ensure alignment with company guidelines and profitability standards.
• Process factory-direct invoices each day and maintain accurate documentation for customer and internal records.
• Coordinate startup-related requests by preparing purchase orders and submitting required materials to the appropriate service teams.
• Provide administrative support for commercial sales activities, including assisting with event coordination and related purchasing needs.
• Distribute recurring inventory updates, sales-to-quota reporting, and other operational spreadsheets to support business visibility.
• Update tracking files and maintain organized records using Excel and other business tools.
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries through phone and email with a courteous, solution-focused approach.
• Work collaboratively across departments and assist with additional business-related tasks as needed to support team success.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service, order entry, or related support experience.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently and manage detailed assignments with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable handling frequent interruptions while staying organized and composed.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone and email correspondence.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$24.00-$28.00 Hourly
