HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Manage recruiting logistics by preparing postings, reviewing applicant materials, arranging interviews, and completing pre-employment reference checks.
• Lead new employee setup by organizing orientation activities, collecting required documentation, and helping new hires transition smoothly into the organization.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and keep HR data current while protecting confidential employee information.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries related to workplace policies, benefit programs, attendance matters, and payroll questions.
• Support benefits administration by processing enrollments, status changes, separations, and open enrollment communications.
• Review timekeeping information, assist with payroll preparation, and verify that employee updates are reflected correctly.
• Monitor leave administration, workers’ compensation matters, and other HR compliance obligations to help ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with internal reviews and regulatory audit support while coordinating training records, employee engagement activities, and general HR communications.
• Provide additional administrative assistance to other departments, including commercial and finance, as needed.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support, HR coordinator, or generalist capacity.
• Familiarity with HR information systems and digital employee record management is preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment regulations and standard human resources practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with a careful approach to confidentiality and sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation
