Medical Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a healthcare office in Cincinnati, Ohio. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience while keeping administrative tasks organized and accurate. The role combines patient-facing reception work with record management and general office support in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors, provide courteous assistance, and help maintain an efficient check-in and front-desk experience.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff members.
• Organize, update, and retrieve medical documentation while helping maintain accurate and accessible patient records.
• Use Microsoft Word and other office tools to prepare routine correspondence, forms, and administrative documents as needed.
• Coordinate appointments, confirm scheduling details, and communicate clearly with patients regarding office procedures.
• Support day-to-day reception activities such as managing paperwork, handling incoming information, and assisting with general office workflow.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a medical receptionist, healthcare front-desk, or similar administrative support role.• Working knowledge of medical records processes and the ability to manage documentation accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and comfort using standard office software in a detail-oriented setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy reception or healthcare environment.
• Reliable organizational skills and close attention to detail when handling scheduling and records.
• Ability to perform core receptionist duties with a service-oriented and detail-oriented approach.
Compensation
