Sr. FP&A Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver recurring financial reports that highlight operating results, key variances, and performance trends across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
• Partner with business leaders to build budgets and rolling forecasts, monitor results against plan, and recommend actions to address gaps or improve outcomes.
• Create and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, investment analysis, and evaluation of new initiatives or operational changes.
• Assess profitability drivers, including food cost performance and labor efficiency, and provide insight into opportunities to strengthen margins.
• Prepare management-ready summaries, dashboards, and presentations that translate financial results into actionable guidance for non-financial stakeholders.
• Support strategic planning by analyzing historical performance, market conditions, and business assumptions to project future financial results.
• Contribute to financial risk reviews and help ensure planning, reporting, and analysis activities align with internal controls and external requirements.
• Perform special analyses for senior leadership and identify process improvements that streamline financial planning and reporting workflows.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.• 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, accounting, or a similar corporate finance function.
• Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated experience building financial models and working with large data sets.
• Hands-on familiarity with financial reporting and planning tools, including systems such as Adaptive Insights, Oracle, QuickBooks, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and core accounting principles.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to business partners and leaders outside of finance.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Certifications and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI are valued.
Compensation
