Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Prepare, issue, and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
• Post payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts. Based on general knowledge.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to support collections efforts. Based on general knowledge.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and billing issues. Based on general knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, adjustments, and communications with customers. Based on general knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting, sales, and customer service to resolve account issues. Based on general knowledge.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Based on general knowledge.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting related to receivables. Based on general knowledge.
• Support cash application, account analysis, and account maintenance as needed. Based on general knowledge.
• Help improve AR processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. Based on general knowledge.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.
• Knowledge of invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations. Based on general knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Based on general knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Based on general knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills. Based on general knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Based on general knowledge.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently. Based on general knowledge.
