Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Prepare, issue, and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
- Post payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts. Based on general knowledge.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to support collections efforts. Based on general knowledge.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and billing issues. Based on general knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, adjustments, and communications with customers. Based on general knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting, sales, and customer service to resolve account issues. Based on general knowledge.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Based on general knowledge.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting related to receivables. Based on general knowledge.
- Support cash application, account analysis, and account maintenance as needed. Based on general knowledge.
- Help improve AR processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- Knowledge of invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations. Based on general knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Based on general knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Based on general knowledge.
- Strong communication and customer service skills. Based on general knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Based on general knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently. Based on general knowledge.
Compensation
