Accounts Receivable Specialist
A growing manufacturer is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who enjoys working in a collaborative accounting environment. This position focuses on customer billing, payment applications, account reconciliations, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices
- Post cash receipts and electronic payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues
- Review aging reports and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
- Research short payments, deductions, and credits
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Maintain accurate customer account records
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of accounts receivable experience
- Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
- ERP experience including NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Compensation
