Order Processing Coordinator
A busy construction materials supplier is adding an Order Processing Coordinator to support its growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced office, has exceptional attention to detail, and understands the importance of accurate order processing in meeting customer deadlines.
You'll play an essential role in coordinating orders, communicating with vendors, and ensuring materials arrive where they're needed—on time and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchase orders and verify pricing
- Coordinate deliveries with warehouse and transportation teams
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers
- Enter product information into the ERP system
- Resolve order discrepancies and shipping issues
- Assist with inventory reporting and purchasing support
- Maintain organized documentation for all customer orders
- Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, and Operations departments
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of order entry, purchasing support, or customer service experience
- Experience in construction, building materials, or distribution is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience using ERP software preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation
