System Analyst
Our client is seeking a System Analyst to support and enhance our manufacturing technology environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical issues, improving operational efficiency, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/QMS) and SAP applications used in production environments
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI
- Gather business requirements and implement system enhancements to improve manufacturing operations
- Support and maintain shop floor databases, servers, and system integrations
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Automate workflows and streamline manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve application and database issues
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience supporting manufacturing systems, business applications, or production environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database administration, and reporting tools
- Experience supporting SAP and manufacturing/shop floor systems is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, networking concepts, or Visual Basic is a plus
Compensation
