Accounts Payable Specialist
Support a High-Volume Accounting Department in a Growing Manufacturing Environment
An expanding aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to process vendor invoices while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a deadline-driven accounting department. This role offers exposure to purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing operations while supporting a collaborative finance team.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices
- Perform two-way and three-way invoice matching
- Verify purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Prepare weekly ACH, wire, and check payment batches
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation
- Support month-end close and accrual reporting
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- ERP experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
