Senior Sitecore Developer

Compensation: $70 to $78 Hourly

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Sitecore Developer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative tied to a merger between two organizations. This role will focus on enhancing, maintaining, and expanding client's enterprise Sitecore CMS environment while leading content migration and rebranding efforts from merging organization's existing web platform into the client's Sitecore ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS in enterprise environments, strong front-end development skills, and the ability to work closely with UX/design teams to deliver modern, customer-facing digital experiences. This is a highly visible project with aggressive timelines and requires someone who can contribute immediately with minimal oversight.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise websites using Sitecore CMS (Managed Cloud 10.3).
  • Support the migration of merging organization's Umbraco content into the client's Sitecore platform.
  • Partner with Marketing Technology (MarTech), UX/UI, and business stakeholders to implement new website features and enhancements.
  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, user-friendly web experiences.
  • Develop, configure, and customize Sitecore components, templates, layouts, and content structures.
  • Collaborate with content authors and marketing teams to improve website usability and content management processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical solution discussions.
  • Ensure websites meet performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and branding standards.
  • Assist with enterprise rebranding initiatives as organizations merge into a unified digital presence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMS-related defects and production issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices around Sitecore development and front-end standards.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Sitecore development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing within Sitecore 10.x environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Sitecore CMS architecture, templates, rendering components, content trees, and publishing workflows.
  • Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET/.NET development.
  • Strong front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience translating Figma designs into production-ready web experiences.
  • Experience working closely with UX/UI and marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of CMS-driven website development and content management best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sitecore Managed Cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting website migrations, rebranding initiatives, or CMS platform consolidations.
  • Familiarity with personalization, analytics, and broader MarTech ecosystems.
  • Experience working alongside content strategy, digital marketing, or customer experience teams.

Project Details

  • Client currently operates on Sitecore XP 10.3 (Managed Cloud)
  • Merging organization utilizes Umbraco CMS platform and content management ecosystem.
  • Initial focus will be migrating and rebranding merging organization's content into the client's Sitecore platform.
  • The project supports enterprise merger activities with key milestones leading up to the combined organization's brand rollout.
  • Team is seeking a senior-level contributor who can immediately add bandwidth and execute with minimal ramp-up time.

Compensation

$70.00-$78.00 Hourly
