Energy & Environmental Litigation Associate

Our Harrisburg office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy, Environmental and Public Utility Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will ideally have at least one year of experience in related litigation, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and litigation procedures. Land use and zoning experience is an added bonus. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful cases within the broad energy industry, providing strategic legal counsel and representation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and litigate public utility, energy and environmental disputes, including regulatory proceedings, administrative hearings, and court cases. Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy and public utility commission policies, environmental regulations, and compliance issues. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Advise clients on legal risks and compliance strategies concerning energy and environmental laws. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective case strategies. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting energy and environmental sectors. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Minimum of one year of experience in energy and environmental litigation. Strong knowledge of federal and state public utility, energy and environmental laws and regulations. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
