Responsibilities

  • Own and manage fire service respiratory protection equipment for the NFPA market throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends within the NFPA fire service sector.
  • Translate customer and market insights into best-in-class, differentiated respiratory protection solutions and experiences.
  • Leverage strong listening, problem-solving, business acumen, and communication skills to drive product success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure the overall health, performance, and strategic direction of the product portfolio.
  • Balance long-term product strategy and development initiatives with near- and mid-term business opportunities and challenges.
  • Navigate complex decisions and drive alignment in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and highly opinionated environment.
  • Champion customer-focused innovation while supporting business growth and market leadership.


Qualifications

  • Experience developing products in industries that are subject to regulatory requirements.
  • Displays exceptional customer-facing and organizational communication skills
  • Serves as the go-to product expert for critical customer engagements and presentations
  • Demonstrates global business acumen, identifying and executing upon product and business model opportunities across a multi-national landscape
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to establish, monitor, and achieve performance goals that align with the project plan and company goals
  • Drives the front end of innovation through VOC efforts and market expertise
  • Displays a willingness to take informed risk, drive consensus and influence the long range portfolio
  • Manages and influences peers without direct authority

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred: MBA

 

Required Experience

  • 9 - 12 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
  • MBA or related graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience
