AVP of Operations

We are looking for an experienced operations and practice management leader to help strengthen business performance for financial professionals and Financial Center owners in Carpinteria, California. This role focuses on building and delivering practical learning programs, guiding business owners through growth planning, and creating resources that improve efficiency, consistency, and long-term enterprise value. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of financial services, a consultative mindset, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders through training, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
• Design, update, and manage a comprehensive practice management curriculum that supports both new and established Financial Center owners and financial professionals.
• Partner with sales, recruiting, marketing, and business leaders to identify capability gaps and translate those findings into effective learning solutions.
• Create instructional content in multiple formats, including guides, presentations, digital courses, videos, and reference materials that support measurable learning outcomes.
• Lead virtual orientation sessions and facilitate additional workshops, webinars, and in-person training programs that encourage participation and practical application.
• Evaluate the business needs of Financial Centers and financial professionals, then develop annual practice management plans aligned with key drivers of business success.
• Coordinate and document coaching engagements, follow-up actions, and resource recommendations to support execution of agreed initiatives.
• Promote consistent training quality by applying sound instructional design practices and maintaining high standards across all learning materials.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business growth, expand service offerings, and strengthen revenue potential through practice management consultations and strategic guidance.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, practice management, training, or business consulting within financial services or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial services business models and the operational needs of small to mid-sized practices.
• Ability to develop and facilitate engaging training programs for audiences with varied levels of experience and learning styles.
• Proven success working cross-functionally with departments such as sales, marketing, and recruiting to deliver business-focused solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and guide business owners effectively.
• Familiarity with FINRA-regulated environments and an understanding of compliance considerations relevant to training and business operations.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects, maintain organized documentation, and drive initiatives from assessment through implementation.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed for in-person meetings, training sessions, and business support activities.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$125,000.00 Yearly
