IT Auditor - Alteryx SME

Our client is a major bank seeking an experienced consultant with deep expertise in Alteryx workflow design and documentation to support a BSA/AML Technology Regulatory Validation audit engagement. The ideal candidate will be an Alteryx subject matter expert with experience developing, documenting, and validating data analytics workflows used in support of audit and regulatory testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex Alteryx workflows to support audit testing and regulatory validation activities within a BSA/AML technology environment.
• Create and maintain comprehensive workflow documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, testing evidence, and audit-ready supporting materials.
• Partner with audit, compliance, and technology stakeholders to validate data integrity, analyze results, and support regulatory examination requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Alteryx best practices, ensuring workflows are efficient, well-controlled, repeatable, and aligned with audit and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, including workflow development, automation, and documentation.
• Experience supporting internal audit, regulatory validation, risk, compliance, or BSA/AML-related initiatives within financial services.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, testing methodologies, and audit documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical processes into clear, auditable documentation.

Note: While experience with BSA/AML technology and regulatory validation is highly desirable, deep Alteryx expertise is the primary requirement for this role.
