Program Scheduler
We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Scheduler (Planner / Scheduler) to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex projects and programs. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, tracking project performance, supporting program teams, and providing schedule analysis to ensure successful program execution.
The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, scheduling expertise, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project and program schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Coordinate with program managers, engineering teams, operations, and stakeholders to establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor schedule performance and identify critical path activities, risks, and potential delays.
- Prepare schedule status reports, metrics, and executive-level presentations.
- Analyze project data and recommend corrective actions to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved.
- Support project planning, resource forecasting, and workload management activities.
- Facilitate schedule reviews and planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure schedule integrity and compliance with organizational processes and reporting requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project planning and scheduling processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional experience, OR
- Master's degree and 3 years of related professional experience, OR
- 9 years of relevant applied experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience developing and managing project or program schedules using Microsoft Project or a comparable scheduling platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or technology programs.
- Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and schedule risk analysis.
- Experience supporting cross-functional project teams and executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Experience with resource loading, forecasting, and project performance reporting.

Compensation
