Human Resources Generalist

Compensation: $75 to $100 Yearly

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of people operations in Massachusetts. In this role, you will work closely with HR leadership and business partners to strengthen hiring practices, employee support, performance processes, and compliance efforts. This position is well suited for an HR specialist who can balance day-to-day execution with initiatives that improve engagement, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with HR leadership to deliver core human resources support across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.
• Lead full-cycle hiring activities by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting selection decisions, and helping new employees transition successfully through onboarding and orientation.
• Guide managers through performance review cycles, goal alignment, coaching conversations, and improvement planning to support employee growth and accountability.
• Identify development opportunities and coordinate learning programs that build workforce capability, leadership readiness, and long-term talent strength.
• Assist with compensation and benefits activities, including salary review support, employee benefit enrollment, and related employee questions.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbook content while helping ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Track and analyze workforce data such as turnover, engagement, and performance trends, then share insights that support informed management decisions.
• Contribute to cross-functional HR projects designed to streamline processes, strengthen the employee experience, and support operational improvement.
• Perform additional human resources duties as needed to meet department and business priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in human resources roles with broad generalist responsibility.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR standards, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and talent development.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Compensation

$75,000.00-$100,000.00 Yearly
