IT Technology Trainer
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Trainer / IT Training Lead to design, deliver, and continuously enhance enterprise-wide IT and digital productivity training programs. This role will play a key part in driving adoption of modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled tools, helping employees use technology securely, effectively, and in alignment with business goals.
The IT Training Lead will work closely with IT, Information Security, Human Resources, and business leadership to translate technical capabilities into practical learning experiences that improve employee productivity and support organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging IT training programs for employees across the organization.
- Lead training initiatives focused on digital workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, collaboration platforms, and other AI-powered tools.
- Partner with IT, Security, HR, and department leaders to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Create learning paths, training materials, user guides, workshops, and e-learning content tailored to varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Promote secure and compliant use of technology by incorporating cybersecurity and governance best practices into training programs.
- Measure training effectiveness through adoption metrics, user feedback, and business productivity outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training content to keep pace with evolving technologies and business needs.
- Support change management efforts tied to new system rollouts, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for end-user technology enablement and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT training, technical training, learning and development, or a related role.
- Experience designing and delivering training for enterprise technologies and digital productivity tools.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, collaboration platforms, and emerging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Understanding of IT security principles and the importance of secure technology adoption.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly training for diverse audiences.
- Experience with training needs analysis, curriculum development, and learning measurement.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, training, or instructional design are a plus.
Compensation
