Senior UX/Product Designer

Austin, TX | Contract | Hybrid

Our client is seeking a Senior UX/Product Designer to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that solve complex challenges and drive meaningful outcomes. This individual will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and business stakeholders to design, validate, and deliver innovative web and mobile solutions. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong UX/UI expertise, and a passion for using data and customer insights to guide design decisions.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, features, and user experience requirements.
• Leverage user research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve product experiences.
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and detailed design specifications for web and mobile applications.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and building alignment across teams.
• Translate complex business and user needs into intuitive, scalable, and accessible design solutions.
• Collaborate throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented as intended.
• Establish and maintain design systems, UI standards, and best practices to promote consistency across products and platforms.
• Champion usability, accessibility, and customer-centered design principles throughout the organization.
• Measure the effectiveness of design solutions and continuously iterate based on user behavior, feedback, and business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience designing and launching digital products in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX, UI, interaction design, and problem-solving skills across complex product ecosystems.
• Experience conducting or leveraging user research and product analytics to inform design decisions.
• Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and design documentation.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and scaling design systems.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to effectively partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, usability standards, and modern design methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Information Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
