Linux Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Linux Automation Engineer to design, automate, and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable solutions, automating manual processes, and improving system reliability through modern infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Linux-based infrastructure in cloud and on-prem environments
• Develop automation scripts, integrations, and operational tools using Python
• Build and maintain infrastructure within Azure and/or AWS
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions
• Manage system monitoring, performance tuning, security, and patching
• Support APIs, databases, and enterprise application integrations
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues
• Partner with technical and business teams to deliver scalable technology solutions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Linux systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewalls
• Experience supporting APIs, databases, and enterprise applications
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
• CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Microsoft 365 administration experience
• Experience supporting multi-site or distributed organizations
• AWS, Azure, Linux, or DevOps certifications
